Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa have announced they will be hosting an exclusive fashion show as part of their Wedding Fair on Friday, 22 April 2016, and will be showcasing some of the leading designers in Oman.
The Wedding Fair, which will follow a garden theme and include over 40 exhibitors, will launch the fashion show with five primary designers.
Amal Al Jamali; a passionate designer who follows her aesthetic instinct to create garments of ethereal elegance and beauty, runs a classy boutique in Muscat; Sunset Fashion, and has been in the industry for more than seven years. Known for blending modern and traditional fashion in her works, Amal will be at the Wedding Fair to showcase her finest designs.
French born Mireille ALoughlin, owner of Arushi Fashion Design – based in Dubai – has adorned a loyal and an elite patronage from around the world for two decades. The House of Arushi synonymous with exquisite intricate bridal gowns, evening dresses and now exotic caftans, will be participating at the Wedding Fair.
Buthaina Anees Issa Al Zadjali, an Omani fashion designer and a proud mother of two kids, began with her passion for designing back in 2010. Her love and fascination for cultural designs, patterns and other antique stuffs is reflected on her works on kaftans or jalabeya, abaya and dresses. Visitors will get a glimpse of Buthaina’s talents at the Wedding Fair.
Kawashi Brand – established in 2004 – one of Omans’ most favoured brands in the line of abaya and jalabeya designing, has for many years represented a chic, simple and modern fashion garments. The fashion brand is known for its unique details that are created with care, representing colourful fabrics, soft handworks and elegant embroideries. Visitors will have a great opportunity to explore Kawashi’s best.
Amal Al Raisi of the reputable fashion brand ‘Dar Al Aseel’ has simply impressed the Omani society with her exquisite fashion designs and creative works. Amal joined the fashion industry eight years ago, and with her dedication, commitment and love for fashion designing, established the famous Omani brand ‘Dar Al Aseel’. Amal’s creative works are a tribute to the Arabian and Omani women, and her display is not to be missed at the Wedding Fair.
