Alfardan Group launches The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort

The Qatar-based Alfardan Group recently announced the debut of The St. Regis brand in Oman, at Al Mouj Muscat in a grand launch ceremony held under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of HM the Sultan.
The newest luxury destination, in partnership with Marriott International, The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort and branded residences is also referred to as ‘Alfardan Resort.’
Alfardan Group’s third high-profile venture in Oman – the first two being Finaa Alfardan and Alfardan Heights – not only mark’s the group’s fortified presence in Oman but is also the debut of the iconic St. Regis brand in the Sultanate.
Located next to the world-class Al Mouj Golf Course, the Alfardan Group’s The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort and branded residences is located along 360m expanse of Muscat’s waterfront and promises to be an extraordinary escape to the capital’s seaside.
Going to be built as an architectural masterpiece, the resort comprises of 271 crafted guestrooms and suites and 170 branded residences featuring a mix of one-to-four-bedroom units and duplexes. Its world-class amenities include a marina, parks, renowned retail brands, health clubs, courtyards and community clubs. one-to-four-bedroom units and duplexes.

Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, also spoke on the event about how excited they were to be associated with a renowned brand such as The St. Regis. He said, “We are proud that Alfardan Group has chosen Al Mouj Muscat as the very first location for this prestigious name in Oman.”
Oman and Qatar have strengthened their relationship with both the countries’ chambers of commerce and industry collaborating in economic growth sectors since 2018, with a bilateral trade partnership that has grown 100 per cent.
In 2017, Qatar and Oman signed an MoU to boost their national tourism industries. Since then, the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Oman National Vision 2040 have prioritised tourism as a key pillar and engine of economic growth. Oman’s 2040 Tourism Strategy is planning over OMR20bn of investments into its tourism sector.
