The VFS Global centre in Muscat will now be able to accept visa applications for those wishing to travel to Denmark. Commenting on the launch of the new centre, H.E. Ole E. Moesby, Ambassador of Denmark Embassy in Riyadh, said: “The Visa Application Centre in Muscat will facilitate much easier visa application procedures for anyone living in Oman who needs a Schengen visa to visit Denmark. Previously, applicants had to travel to Danish missions elsewhere in the region to apply for a visa, which made travel to Denmark somewhat cumbersome, expensive and time-consuming. More recently, we’ve noticed that it is not just Denmark that tourists are looking to explore. There has also been a steady increase in tourists interested in visiting Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland, which are other great travel destinations within easy reach of Denmark. It is our aim to provide a hassle-free service to applicants, and with the launch of the new Visa Application Centre in Muscat, this is making the travel aspirations of tourists and business travellers a reality.’’
Vinay Malhotra, Regional Group COO for Middle East, South Asia & China – VFS Global, said: “VFS Global has enjoyed a long association with the Denmark Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and we appreciate their unwavering faith and continued support. We are truly excited to bring our visa services for Denmark to Oman and provide to a whole new set of travellers to Denmark, a seamless visa application journey.”
