PDO evaluates potential gas discovery in Mabrouk field

Petroleum Development Oman’s (PDO) exploration team is in the process of evaluating a potentially exciting gas discovery in the Mabrouk area located in central Oman, according to a senior official of PDO.
Abdul Amir bin Abdul Hussain al Ajmi, director of external affairs and in-country value at PDO said, “We will provide further details as we complete ongoing exploration/appraisal follow-up and consistent with previous reporting practice, this will not be before the annual media conference scheduled at the Ministry of Oil and Gas in March 2018.”
