COVID-19: Ministry Of Health Forms Team To Monitor Workplace Safety
Muscat: A team for assessing staff safety to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic has been formed by a Ministerial decision No. 105/ 2020, to implement the precautionary measures in the workplace in the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The team, which is under the chairmanship of Dr. Qamra Al-Sariri, MOH Director General of Quality Assurance Center, is visiting the MOH directorates general to implement the measures and requirements that should be followed in the workplace, as well as submitting the visit’s reports on the notes that should be implemented to achieve the staff and workers safety in these directorates.
Recently, a number of tasks have been assigned to the team to visit the directorates general in the governorates and hospitals to implement preventive measures and prepare a healthy work environment for the employees.
The team is performing the epidemiological investigations of COVID-19 incidences in the MOH headquarters and taking the necessary measures in the workplace.
