144 Oil & Gas industry leaders golf for a noble cause at ADIPEC 2015
The event featured fundraising activities, with all donations made to Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), a UAE charity that delivers moral, financial, and clinical support to patients and their families.
Close on the heels of the success of last year’s event, more than 100 industry leaders, played to support cancer patients and their families, including representatives from Shell, Mubadala Petroleum, the Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADOC), ADMA-OPCO, and Zakum Development Company (ZADCO).
Prizes were awarded to first, second, and third place teams winning the overall competition in the various categories like hitting the ball nearest to the pin, the straightest drive, and the longest drive, as well as the winner of the ‘Hit the Gong’ charity challenge.
ADIPEC, one of the world’s leading energy events, kicks off tomorrow and will bring together international and regional decision makers to leverage developments in technology, unconventional resources, and international collaboration towards meeting the growing global demand for energy.
