XO Waffle Café opens in LuLu Darsait

XO Waffles, one of the first Waffle expertise cafes that offer a variety of unique sandwich style Belgian Waffles that can be relished on the go, has opened in LuLu Darsait.
Owned and managed by Gold Coast LLP, XO Waffle, known as XO Belgian Waffle in India, was an idea born out of passion for food with its first dedicated Waffle Café at India’s tech city, Bengaluru in December 2017. Within a span of 18 months, the brand expanded to major cities in India. Gold Coast LLP are now partnering up with Khalfan Alhashmy, who share the same passion as the core team, to expand in the GCC region and have first set their target of filling Oman with a whole lot of XO’s.
Two more outlets in Oman
Rajat Anil Shetty, co-founder of XO Waffle says following the opening of the first outlet in Oman in LuLu Darsait, two more outlets will be opened at Amerat LuLu and Seeb LuLu within 40 days. Post that, XO Waffle plans to open more franchise outlets not only in Oman but in the entire GCC region. In India, the brand plans to expand into more cities. At present, the brand has its presence in three cities.
The offerings are in three categories Classic Waffles like Maple Butter, Cinnamon Apple, Chocolates Waffles like Nutella, Premium Belgian Chocolates and the XO Special Waffles like the stellar Night & Day and Irani Maska to name a few! They also serve XOtic Shakes, unique Hot Chocolates and of course Coffees. “We have close to 45 to 50 items to choose from.”
Innovative yet authentic while maintaining the highest of qualities are the core values of the brand, making it artisanal. The waffle batter is a unique 100 per cent veg batter designed for crisp on the outside yet soft inside waffles. All waffles are made to order in an open kitchen right in front the customers, adding high quality chocolates, fruit fillings, maple or honey, whipped creams and ice creams and chips. The waffles are served hot, crisp and loaded with tons of XO!
