Al-Futtaim IKEA’s Iftar Buffet Is Back, Offering Classic Comfort and Bold New Tastes

Al-Futtaim IKEA invites friends and families in Oman to enjoy its highly anticipated traditional Iftar buffet during this Ramadan. Get ready to feast on a buffet with up to 30 dishes at your favourite Swedish home furnishing retailer at Oman Avenues Mall.
Launched on the first day of the holy month, the buffet is available daily from 6 pm to 9 pm, featuring live cooking stations and a wide selection of classic delicacies, from hot and cold mezzes to irresistible desserts. What’s more, every Ramadan buffet customer will receive a RO1.5 voucher.
Get ready to indulge in a mouthwatering spread, featuring a blend of Middle Eastern, Indian, and Continental dishes for both adults and children alike. The menu features everything from classic Ramadan favourites to unique new offerings. Begin your Iftar with warm appetizers like kibbeh, cheese samosas, spring rolls, and an assortment of kebabs. No Iftar is complete without a cold mezze station, offering traditional favourites such as creamy hummus, moutabel, and more. For added freshness, salad lovers can look forward to a curated salad station, complete with a selection of Arabic salads, greens, cheeses, and olives.
Save room for the grand main menu—new flavours are served up every day. A rotating selection includes comfort classics, such as chicken tikka masala, thareed, chicken bukhari, lasagna alforno, and more. And if you have got some room to spare, indulge in Dawood Basha-style IKEA meatballs! Meanwhile, watch out for the Lamb Ouzi Live station featuring IKEA’s famous slow-cooked whole lamb Ouzi served with Arabic rice and yoghurt—an all-time favourite. To end on a sweet note, don’t miss the Ramadan-edition dessert station, featuring an assortment of cakes and traditional Luqaimat treats.
From the first day of the holy month, IKEA invites all visitors to extend a heartfelt gesture by sharing Al-Futtaim IKEA’s Iftar Meal Box with those in need. Available for pre-order at RO1.25, each box is packed with all the essentials to kickstart one’s iftar, sure to bring joy to many.
This Ramadan, IKEA looks forward to welcoming families to enjoy a memorable Iftar together, whether in-store or taking home a delicious 3.2 kg lamb shua takeaway at RO25 (or RO19 for IKEA Family members). Customers can also take home a variety of ready-to-cook Arabic mezze from the IKEA Swedish Food market, including cheese samosas, meat kibbeh, and more, priced at RO2.5 per dozen.
With the Iftar buffet price at RO7.9 for adults, RO2.9 for children aged 6-12, complimentary dining for children five and under, and a special rate for IKEA Family members, there is something for everyone.
