Shahidnan Putra wins ‘A’Saffa Golf Tournament’ 2016
A’Saffa Foods, SAOG., Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry and Value added Delicacy products producers of natural and tasty healthy food range – recently organized the second edition of the ‘A’Saffa Golf Tournament – 2016’ at the Ghala Valley Golf course. Open to golfers throughout the Sultanate, A’Saffa endeavored to bring together and recognize top quality golf players, as well as increase the awareness of golf in the Sultanate through the tournament.

Open to golfers throughout the Sultanate, A’Saffa endeavored to bring together and recognize top quality golf players, as well as increase the awareness of golf in the Sultanate through the tournament.
The extremely talented Shaidnan Putra with an impressive 47 points was declared the Winner of this year’s A’Saffa Golf Tournament that saw an overwhelming participation of over 110 avid golfers. Faisal Al Adawi, who scored 45 points, was a close First Runner-Up and Suhaimi Abdullah, with a score of 43 points was the Second Runner-Up of the tournament. The ladies division was won by Asma Al Rashdi with 36 points. The junior division was won by Fahad Al Kitani with a score of 38 points. ‘Nearest to the Pin’ was won by Ahmed Al Balushi. Longest Drive was won by Asma Al Rashdi. All the winners received their trophies from the Guest of Honour – His Excellency Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas.
Congratulating the winners on their victories, Dr. Nasser Al Mauly, CEO at A’Saffa Foods said, “Through the A’Saffa Golf Tournament, it is our aim to do our bit towards increasing the scope of the game in Oman; alongside using the event as a platform to showcase our range of healthy and tasty savories.”

Post the tournament; players were provided with a sumptuous A’Saffa barbeque feast that featured A’Saffa poultry and meat products. As part of the day’s proceedings specially designed gift bags were also given to all the players.
