Oman Avenues mall, the Sultanate’s largest shopping destination, hosted a unique antiques exhibition conducted by Mr. Abdulaziz Alkharusi for the period of 4 days from 23rd Dec to 26th Dec 2015.

Oman Avenues mall, the Sultanate’s largest shopping destination, hosted a unique antiques exhibition conducted by Mr. Abdulaziz Alkharusi for the period of 4 days from 23rd Dec to 26th Dec 2015. Mr. Abdulaziz Alkharusi runs his own museum in Mabellah Muscat. His collection consists of antiques like Cameras, typewriters, Coins, and Passports etc. Some of his collection includes, very old home utensils, Jewellery and handicrafts.
Commenting on the exhibition, General Manager of Oman Avenues mall, Mr. Ben Watson said, Oman Avenues mall has always strived to be a destination for the Omani community, this is yet another step in this direction, to give a platform to emerging talent, for showcasing their skills.
Commenting on his work, Mr. Abdulaziz Alkharusi said “The idea to collect unique items came to my mind when I found 1315 Hijri Anna (Coin), which made me, more excited to search, for more .The search begin in 2010 ,wherein I came across a rare collection of currencies and some valuable items which were very much of olden times.
Mr. Abdulaziz Alkharusi, has belief in, that his collection in Oman avenues Mall will attract lot of people from different nationalities since his collection is rare and from different nations. His first ever experience in a mall has been successful till now.
