Khimji’s watches brings Golf GameBook live-scoring technology to Muscat
Golf GameBook, the world’s leading live-scoring golf technology, has been introduced to Oman’s golfers at Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club, recently. Khimji’s Watches is the main sponsor and lifestyle partner while Omantel is the official data partner of the new digital scorecard at Oman’s first grass golf course.

Golf GameBook, the world’s leading live-scoring golf technology, has been introduced to Oman’s golfers at Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club, recently. Khimji’s Watches is the main sponsor and lifestyle partner while Omantel is the official data partner of the new digital scorecard at Oman’s first grass golf course.
For over 150 years golf clubs and golfers have used paper scorecards and pencils to record rounds of golf. Golf GameBook is revolutionising golf administration and player enjoyment in the region, while helping the environment by cutting down on the amount of paper used by golf clubs.
Onside Sports, the official representative of Golf GameBook in the GCC, has created a package for golf clubs, which will enable the clubs to provide a hole-by-hole live scoring environment for all of their events, whether members competitions, open tournaments, corporate golf days or golf societies. Hole-by-hole live scoring will enable golfers to see exactly where they are in the competition after every hole played, which completely alters the dynamic of competitive golf, as well as improves the overall experience for the golfer.
Aside from improving the on-course experience for golfers, Golf GameBook’s in-built social media platform enables golfers to stay connected with their golfing friends wherever they are in the world. By downloading the Golf GameBook App from the App Store, creating an account and becoming a Golf GameBook User, golfers can now connect with their golfing friends and communicate with them in real time while on the golf course; through messages, photos and video content. Whether a social round or a competitive round, Golf GameBook provides every golfer with an audience and also connects directly to main-stream social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
