Dusit Thani Maldives, a luxury Thai-inspired resort on Mudhdhoo Island in Maldives’ Baa Atoll, picked up four awards at the Haute Grandeur Global Awards 2019, followed swiftly by a regional win in the World Luxury Hotel Awards.

The resort was declared Haute Grandeur Global’s Best Beach Resort in the Indian Ocean, Best All-Inclusive Family Hotel, Best All-Inclusive Resort and Best Wedding Retreat on the Global Level.

At the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2019, the resort was named regional winner of the Luxury Beach Hotel category.

Located just 35 minutes by seaplane from Maldives capital city Malé, and 10 minutes by speedboat from Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll, Dusit Thani Maldives comprises of 94 villas and residences, along with three restaurants, two bars, and Dusit’s signature Devarana Spa. The Haute Grandeur Global Awards 2019 was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, while the World Luxury Hotel Awards was held in Rovaniemi, Finland.

Established in 2014 as an independent initiative to honour the very highest achievements from across the global hotel industry, the Haute Grandeur Global Awards is designed to celebrate the very best in hotel experiences across seven continents, 172 countries and 90 categories. Winners are selected annually based on quality feedback from guests, rather than quantity of votes by a panel of judges or the general public.

Also organised annually, the World Luxury Hotel Awards is a renowned global organisation that provides recognition to luxury hotels for their world-class facilities and excellent services. Awards are presented to luxury hotels in over 50 different categories on a country, regional and global basis. Public votes select all winners.
