You Can Now Get Your Official Expo 2020 Dubai Merchandise Here!
Global Village in Dubai now houses the official retail outlet for the World’s Greatest Show, Expo 2020 Dubai, which is all set to open on Oct. 20th.
The store, will sell event-branded merchandise such as the Expo wristbands, plush toys of the mascots, camel soap, and sustainable apparel made from plastic recycled in the UAE Collectors’ items, such as gold and silver commemorative coins, will also be sold as limited edition souvenirs to celebrate the largest event ever held in the Arab World.
Part of Expo 2020’s ‘Licensing and Retail Programme’, the store will retail official merchandise produced by a range of innovative local and international businesses, a press statement issued in Emirates News Agency said today.

According to Sanjive Khosla, Chief Commercial Officer of Expo 2020 Dubai, “Expo 2020 is just a few months away from opening its doors. Through a variety of Expo-branded merchandise, much of it crafted by local artisans and SMEs, our first official store will offer visitors from the UAE and beyond a taste of what to expect from the World’s Greatest Show.”
Expo 2020 is set to run for 173 days and will see more than 200 international participants, including 192 countries, with estimates of 25 million visitors attending the event.
Earlier last week, two agreements were signed between Expo 2020 Dubai and the Ministries of Interior and Defence aimed at strengthening collaboration in preparation for Expo 2020 to be held in October this year. As part of the objectives of promoting greater community engagement in Expo 2020, the agreements seek to provide government employees and their families opportunities to participate in the celebrations featured at the event.
