According to Said Bin Nasser Bin Salim Al Rashdi, CEO of SANDAN development, which is executing the project, the integrated city complex will host 2200 workshops and exhibitions for building materials and automobiles, 400 offices and 1800 residential units for workers.
All the units of the project-workshops, offices, trade shows and residential units, will be offered for direct sale and buyers will have the opportunity to pay in interest-free installments extending to 18 months. The project will be constructed in four phases beginning June 2016 and will be completed by mid-2018.
SANDAN is a 100 per cent Omani company comprising local investors. Rashdi said the project, which has been approved by Ministry of Housing, intends to host 50 auto tradeshows with a capacity of more than 1000 vehicles. Around 1200 workshops that will be set up will offer repair, spare parts and other automobile requirements.
SANDAN will be the biggest destination for automobile customers. The city will have 1800 residential units for workers in order to save time and achieve work-life balance. More than 10,000 people are expected to reside within the integrated city complex.
