Rate of Employment, Expat Replacement Stands At 66% During First Half Of 2022
The Ministry of Labour has unveiled indicators of employment and replacement of expatriates with Omani workers during the first half of 2022.
Its records show that 23,271 Omanis received jobs, out of this year’s target number of 35,000.
In a breakdown, the Ministry explained that 17,255 Omani jobseekers were employed directly, while another 6,016 jobseekers received their jobs after completing training programmes.
The ministry affirmed its keenness to absorb the largest possible number of Omani youth seeking employment.
