Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Signs Pacts Worth RO 5 Million
Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources today signed three agreements in the fisheries sector to the tune of RO 5.7 million. The projects provide for the establishment of a fish market in the Wilayat of Khasab, breakwaters in the villages of Al Jari, Al Ghamda’a, the Wilayat of Bakha, as well as designing and implementing a wharf for fisheries handling in Ras Al Hadd, Wilayat of Sur.
The agreements were signed by Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. Present at the signing ceremony were Sayyid Ibrahim Saud Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam and Yaqoub Khalfan Al Busaidi, Fisheries Undersecretary.
