du Brings You The First Batch Of 5G Enabled Handsets

First batch of 5G-Enabled Handsets have been Dispatched to Preregistered du Customers for Free
du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC),
in collaboration with ZTE, the leading global handset provider has delivered 5G
connectivity via the cutting edge Axon Pro 10 handset.
A select group of du customers who preregistered from 8 th May will receive the devices for free, dispatched to them directly so they can begin enjoying 5G connectivity speeds up to 20 times faster than 4G provided.
This announcement closely follows the UAE’s first live 5G consumer experiences, proudly
hosted by du across their retail stores and suhoors throughout the month of May. Developed with 5G technology at its core, ZTE’s Axon Pro 10 device was used to show thrilled consumers how they can unlock the full potential of the network upgrade, the same device is now widely available for consumers to avail the full 5G experience at their leisure.
5G’s successful deployment cements the leading telco’s credentials as a key player in the space, building on previous ICT innovations and smart infrastructure leadership.
du will continue to bring further 5G-ready handsets over the next few weeks including the Huawei Mate x5G and ZTE Router to the UAE as they become available.
