Beach Clean-Up Drive by Techno Plastic Industry
Techno Plastic recently organized a beach clean-up drive at Azaiba on December 7, 2019.
The beach clean-up drive was organized to conserve the local environment and create awareness. A number of volunteers including employees and locals participated in the event.
Proud to say that the children were also part of this cause, their excitement and enthusiasm boosted everyone. There were local volunteers who helped clean up the beach, collected bottles, plastic bags, waste etc. This was an effort on behalf of Techno Plastic to give back to the community and contribute to conserving the environment.
For a lot of us, the beach is our happy place. It’s where we go to soak up the sun, to frolic in the water, or to take long walks to help us mull over major decisions. Naturally, we feel a little protective of our beaches. We’re shocked to see that some people don’t care as much about our beaches as we do. When we spot trash and debris littering our beloved beaches, it’s upsetting—not only because it damages the beauty of the beach, but also because it hurts the fragile ecosystems that call the beach home.

“We will try our best to ensure our wonderful coast and sea are preserved for current and future generations as it’s our social responsibility towards our beautiful country. I thank all of those who volunteered to help keep beach clean. Let us all be part of solution not a part of pollution, keep Oman green.” said by Mr. Saeed Salim Khawar, Chairman of Techno Plastic Industry LLC.
