SalamAir Bags Asia’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet Accolade For 2022
Oman’s budget airline, SalamAir, has won Asia’s ‘Youngest Aircraft Fleet’ accolade for 2022 and the third ‘World’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet’ award from Ch-Aviation, Switzerland.
On the momentous occasion, Capt. Mohamed Ahmed, the CEO of SalamAir said: “This will be the second year that we have won this accolade [from] ch-aviation. It is definitely a proud moment for all of us at SalamAir as we are celebrating our 5th anniversary of providing our customers with the best value for money service, in the most state-of-the-art aircraft the Airbus A320neo and A321neo.
“We are recognised among 4,700 active airlines globally, [and] it makes us very proud to have such a young fleet as it helps us in being efficient, reliable while offering our customers comfort when travelling.
“Our environmental impact is also at our forefront as much as our customers; having a young fleet also helps us reduce our cardoon footprint with lower carbon emissions making us more environmentally-friendly.”
The CEO further committed to maintaining service excellence, while expanding their fleet with their second A321neo aircraft this year, which will be used to expand their existing network and adding more destinations.
