Oman reports 109 new Covid-19 cases, total crosses 1,000-mark
The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Thursday announced the registration of 109 new confirmed cases with Covid-19, which brings the total number of registered cases to 1,019, including four deaths.
Of the 109 new cases, 12 are Omanis, and 97 are expatriates. The number of recovered cases is 176, an increase of 45 from Wednesday. The commercial market area adjoining the hospital in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in South al Sharqiyah has been locked down until further notice.
The Ministry has advised all citizens and residents to wash hands with water and soap, as well as avoid touching the face, nose, mouth, and eyes and following the healthy habits when coughing and sneezing.
