Oman’s ministry, Shell sign agreement on human resources
A memorandum of cooperation (MoC) in the areas of human resources development was signed between the Ministry of Civil Service and Shell Development Company, on Tuesday.

A memorandum of cooperation (MoC) in the areas of human resources development was signed between the Ministry of Civil Service and Shell Development Company, on Tuesday.
Sayyid Salim bin Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Administrative Development Affairs and Chris Breeze, Shell’s Country Chairman in Oman signed the pact at the General Diwan of the Ministry of Civil Service.
The agreement aims to promote cooperation between the two parties in the fields of development, training, occupational safety workshops, development of work environment, investment in human resources, management planning, implementation of successful management practices, the use of the latest technologies and mechanisms to measure the results of training and management development.
Following the signing of the MoC, Chris Breeze said that the company would commit to the development of the Omani talents in the company’s projects through the support of its partners in the Sultanate.
He pointed out that the company’s cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Service is another example of this commitment to the Omani society. He added that the memorandum emphasises the importance of exchanging viewpoints, knowledge, processes and expertise on matters related to human resources.
He expressed his confidence that this partnership would contribute to strengthening the capacities of the two parties and would enable them to contribute to the promotion of the Omani economy, looking forward to seeing the positive results of this important cooperation.
