Sohar Islamic’s Offices Shift to Ghala

Sohar Islamic, the Islamic Banking window of Sohar International, has relocated its offices from MBD to Ghala stated a media release. The new location also witnessed the opening of a fully-fledged new Sohar Islamic branch to provide customers with easy access to leading Islamic banking services.
Abdul Wahid Mohamed Abdullah Al Murshidi, Chief Islamic Banking Officer of Sohar Islamic stated: “Underpinned by our purpose of helping people ‘win’ by delivering responsive solutions for their ever-changing world, we look forward to welcoming potential and existing customers to our new offices and branch. As the gateway to the capital – Ghala is an ideal location for us to have our offices enabling us to be where our customers are providing utmost convenience. Staffed with a knowledgeable team of Islamic bankers, the operations at the new location will continue to provide the bouquet of Islamic banking services in order to meet customer requirements. We look forward to welcoming all at the new location.”
In accordance with the Bank’s rebranding strategy, Sohar Islamic continues on its transformation journey with its new offices bringing together employees from various departments under one roof. The new domicile is a continuation of the Bank’s strategy to redefine banking by raising the bar on customer-centricity and helping customers win and achieve their goals; making it more accessible and convenient for customers to seek products and services in a friendlier, technology-driven environment, to support their overall banking experience.
The new branch will have the same working hours as before; and will be open Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 am till 2:00 pm. Being full-service, it features a new design aimed at improving the customer experience with an open layout and comfortable meeting areas where Islamic bankers can meet with customers to discuss their financial needs. The head-office also has a 24-hour zone with full-service ATMs.
