Bank Nizwa credit card holders enjoy credit-free transactions while on travel

Bank Nizwa’s credit card holders can avail credit-free transactions while on travel as the Sultante’s leading Islamic bank is waving fees on foreign transactions (FX), it said in a press release issued today.
The offer, which was launched last year, is continuing its success run this holiday season as well and is part of the growing list of exclusive benefits for Bank Nizwa Shari’a-compliant credit card holders. Other benefits include free access to more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide, complimentary takaful travel insurance cover, special discounts and enhanced security.
Arif Al Zaabi, Assistant General Manager Retail Banking – Bank Nizwa, said that the customers are at the core of everything the bank did and this offer has also been created to empower their customers to budget their expenses while travelling.
“Waiving the fees on foreign transactions and alleviating some of the costs associated with overseas credit card usage is part of our aim to always go the extra mile for our customers,” he said.

Bank Nizwa’s wide range of Shari’a-compliant and globally accepted credit cards include the Basic, Standard, Gold and Platinum and each comes with its set of privileges and benefits. Apart from adhering to strict compliance to principles of Islamic finance under expert supervision of a dedicated team of Shari’a experts, the credit cards are also technologically secure and use the latest in 3D Secure solution and One-Time-Passwords (OTP), adding an additional layer of security for online shoppers.
