Bank Muscat ropes in eFile-Teejan for first-of-its-kind archiving project
Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has signed a first-of-its-kind agreement in the banking sector in Oman with eFile-Teejan for modernisation of bank records archiving project.

Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, has signed a first-of-its-kind agreement in the banking sector in Oman with eFile-Teejan for modernisation of bank records archiving project.
Yaseen Abdul Latif, DGM – Support Services, said: “In step with the ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and focus on innovation to serve customers, Bank Muscat has launched the modernisation of records archiving project. We had two main objectives; to centralise all of our document storage and management requirements and to implement reorganisation of archiving within the bank. Following a rigorous evaluation of the available solutions to meet these goals, eFile-Teejan was chosen to implement the project. Some of the major benefits within these processes include cutting costs, optimising operations and administration efficiencies.”
Hussein Al Zeer, Regional Director of eFile-Teejan, said: “eFile-Teejan will utilise its technological expertise in organising, managing, and archiving of Bank Muscat records, creating a safe storage of bank information with strict confidentiality. This project will enable Bank Muscat to benefit in many areas from the possibilities offered by the electronic handling of transactions and documentation processes. It is gratifying that eFile-Teejan will be responsible for the archiving project of Bank Muscat. eFile-Teejan will enable the bank to maximise administrative efficiencies, improve information accessibility, safety, security and confidentiality.”
