The all-new Hyundai Tucson, a compact SUV and all-new Creta a sub-compact SUV were unveiled in Oman recently by Hyundai Motor Company & OTE Group in the presence of Counselor Mrs. Kim, Charge d’ Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Han, Director General, Korean Trade Center (KOTRA), Mr. James Kim, Vice-President, Head of Africa & Middle East Regional Headquarters, Hyundai Motor Company, Sheikh Saad Bahwan, Chairman – OTE Group, Mr. Anil Dua, Managing Director, OTE Group along with officials from the Regional Headquarters of Hyundai Motor Company and senior management representatives of the OTE Group.
The Third generation all-new Tucson offers a bold and athletic design, new technological features and class-leading driving performance. The new model is perfectly placed to build on the popularity of its predecessor, which has been one of Hyundai’s largest-selling models across the region and the volume leader in the compact SUV segment.
All-New Tucson combines the strong proportions and profile of an SUV with a sense of agility & dynamism. The car is equipped with the latest in technology and features. It maintains the ruggedness of an SUV, while providing family comfort, making it perfect for small families and medium-level executives.

Also, the All New Tucson has 10 percent more luggage space in the trunk than its predecessor.
The all-new Tucson comes in 4WD and NU 2.0 MPI petrol engine with a fixed 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox with SHIFTRONIC manual shifting mode.
When it comes to protecting occupants, the All-New Tucson has been designed to be one of the safest cars in its class, as reflected by the 5-star rating it has received in both the European and North American NCAP crash tests. When it comes to active safety systems, the model is equipped with hi-tech features such as a parking assist, rear camera, down-hill brake control and Hill-start Assist Control in addition to blind spot detectors, which is installed for the first time by Hyundai on a compact SUV model.
