HORECA Oman Opens Its Fifth Edition, Bringing the Hospitality Industry Together

HORECA Oman officially opened today at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of H.H. Sayyid Hamoud bin Qais bin Tariq Al Said, marking the start of its fifth edition and reinforcing its role as a key meeting place for the hospitality and foodservice industries in the Sultanate of Oman.

Co-organized by Hospitality Services and Al Nimr Expo, and held with the support of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the three-day exhibition runs until 16 September 2026. It brings together more than 200 exhibitors showcasing over 1,500 local and international brands across more than 5,500 sqm of exhibition space, and is expected to welcome over 8,000 buyers and trade visitors.

“HORECA Oman reflects the continued growth and dynamism of Oman’s hospitality sector,” said Joumana Dammous-Salamé, managing director of Hospitality Services. “It has become an important annual meeting place where professionals come together to discover what’s new, exchange ideas and expertise, meet the right partners and create new business opportunities. We are proud to see the event continue to grow alongside the industry it serves.”

Salim Al Hashmi, CEO of Al Nimr Expo, said: “HORECA Oman continues to support the advancement of the hospitality sector by bringing together professionals, innovators and emerging talents. This collaboration contributes to strengthening industry capabilities and positioning Oman as an evolving destination for hospitality investment and growth.”

Across the exhibition, visitors can discover the latest products, services, technologies and solutions spanning food and beverage, hotel and kitchen equipment, hospitality design and operations, providing a broad view of the innovations and trends shaping the industry.

Knowledge and industry exchange are also central to this year’s program. HORECA Talks brings together leading industry voices to address key topics, opportunities and challenges facing the hospitality and foodservice sectors in Oman and the wider region, with a focus on practical insights and shared expertise.

Talent and professional excellence take center stage through more than 30 competitions and masterclasses involving over 250 competitors. The program includes the Hospitality Salon Culinaire, Junior Chef Competition, Art of Service Competition, HORECA Barista Competition Oman and Latte Art Competition — both by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) — as well as the Mocktail and Bed Making competitions.

More than 40 speakers, experts and guest chefs complete the program through masterclasses, live cooking demonstrations and knowledge-sharing sessions, while dedicated networking and B2B meetings create further opportunities for exchange, partnerships and business development.

Running until 16 September 2026, HORECA Oman brings three days of business, knowledge, innovation and talent together under one roof, strengthening connections across the hospitality and foodservice community in Oman and the region.
