Minister Of Economy Heads To UAE For Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week On Behalf Of His Majesty
Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy left Oman today heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
The event is scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday) at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The ADSW, which comes within the events of the Expo 2020 Dubai, contributes to the international efforts exerted to address climate change by focusing on three areas, namely international cooperation and leadership, economic development, technology and innovation. The ADSW will see wide participation of leaders and officials from all over the world.
During the ceremony, Zayed Sustainability Prize 2022 will be handed over to participants in initiatives that develop innovative projects in areas related to sustainability, including health, food, energy and water.
