Max Verstappen Wins First F1 Title After A Tensed Ending At Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Abu Dhabi: Max Verstappen won his first Formula 1 world title after defeating Lewis Hamilton in a controversial season finale at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.
This season has been hailed as one of the best in the history of the sport and the title race ended in one of the “craziest” final laps there has been.
Hamilton almost won his record-breaking eighth world title until Williams Racing driver Nicholas Latifi crashed into the guardrails four laps before the end and the safety car was called up.
