NDC Records Strong Financial Results In 2020

Muscat: The National Detergent Company SAOG (NDC) announced strong financial results with profit after tax rising 44 per cent.
The diluted earnings per share increased from 36 Bzs to 52 Bzs. Net cash flow from operating profit also increased to RO2.5mn. With the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the company produced its first Ministry of Health-registered drug products and is positioned to support the needs of the citizens and residents of Oman.
“NDC is leading the way to producing products in Oman for Omanis, local residents, and tourists. When Omani people demand products like Farah hand sanitizer versus products made in other countries, the country benefits in numerous ways,” said Bill Hunt, Chief Executive Officer of NDC.
Omanis responded very well to the Farah hand sanitizer due to its highly-favored rose fragrance, the general quality of the product – that is registered and approved by the Ministry of Health – and a ‘Drug Facts’ label.
“Consumers move towards a healthier tomorrow when they choose and use sanitizers with the drug facts label on the back,” Hunt added.
NDC is the home of Oman’s most trusted brand – Bahar laundry detergent, washing powder, and other ‘Made in Oman’ products.
