Oman To Impose Night Movement Ban From March 28
Muscat: The Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the Coronavirus has made a decision to impose a night curfew in a bid to reduce the spread of the virus within the Sultanate.
The night movement ban will come into effect from March 28, following which no individuals or vehicles will be permitted in the public from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
All commercial activities will be prohibited during the period.
The movement ban will end on April 8.
The decision comes after the Sultanate witnessed a surge in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths arising from complications related to the virus.
