Schools To Reopen Under Blended Learning Model For Students Of These Grades

Muscat: Students studying in grades one, four, five, nine, and 11 will return to school as per a document released by the Ministry of Education today.
Schools across the Sultanate will begin operations on January 17 and operate under a blended learning model. Earlier yesterday, the Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the pandemic had stated that schools would gradually resume classes.
The Ministry then added that the continuation and expansion to other grades are subject to evaluation of the epidemiological situations and the decisions of the Supreme Committee.
“The specialists must abide by all the precautionary measures, procedures, and controls that were mentioned in Ministerial Resolution No. 176/2020 to approve the rules and regulations for operating schools,” the decision added.
