Coronavirus: These Could Be The Key To Helping Boost Your Immunity
Natasha Rudatsenko, Founder of Health Nag (www.healthnag.com) lists out some immunity-boosting essentials.
Immunity is the reason why we don’t die. Immunity fights for us. The focus should be on immunity. While there are many suggestions for immunity all over the internet and social media, none of them can guarantee full protection but at the same time I believe, if all of it comes in complex, one can have a strong immune defence against the virus or at least is able to recover much faster if infected.

Here are some of the immunity-boosting essentials
RAW VITAMIN C + BIOFLAVONOIDS (1000-2000 MG DAILY)
These are the main immunity support. Avoid going for synthetic or dissolvable vitamins with a lot of additives. Choose ones that are with Biofalvonoids as they increase antioxidant protection by working in synergy with Vitamin C
ZINC – PICOLINATE FORM (50MG DAILY)
Zinc is a common and potent anti-microbial and immunity-boosting mineral.
VITAMIN D3 (5,000IU MAINT OR 20,000IU IF LOW)
This is an absolute must right now. Especially because we are spending more time indoors during quarantine, and Vitamin D is responsible for many crucial immunity functions in our body. The immunity is severely compromised if deficient. And sadly, the majority of UAE residents are Vitamin D deficient even not during quarantine times.
MONOLAURIN – ANTIVIRAL & ANTIBACTERIAL (1000MG)
This is a very potent anti-viral support. However, it cannot protect from viral infection 100 per cent. It can only act as support in boosting your immunity.

B3 / NIACIN
Helps to destroy even antibiotic-resistant bacteria and significantly boosts immunity.
GLUTATHIONE
Other components can also have a very positive impact in immunity. Glutathione is the body’s main antioxidant defence mechanism produced in the liver. This is by far more powerful than antioxidant supplements or vitamins because the body will self- regulate glutathione’s role in the immune system.

OREGANO OIL
It is an effective antifungal and antibacterial substance that boosts your immunity.

NAD+
It is a major cofactor that partakes in almost all cellular reactions. It promotes energy production and enables cells to work properly. Low NAD+ is also known to inhibit the body’s immune system and natural defence mechanism
MANUKA HONEY
Raw Manuka Honey has antimicrobial peptides and medicinal properties (such as flavonoids, polyphenols, vitamins and minerals) that strengthen the immune system.
The big accent, of course, should be on a healthy nutrient-dense diet, plenty of sleep and light exercise. Along with all the above, you may have better resistance to viruses and your immunity will protect you from potentially life-threatening illness side- effects.
Note: Do remember to take the advice of your medical professional before embarking on any medicine journey.
