‘Smart’ Contact Lens Prototype Has Built-In Display Screen
Mojo Vision announced its plan for Mojo Lens, the “first true smart contact lens.”
The “invisible computing” company’s prototype for the lens has an embedded display that is about size of a marker dot.
The company says users would wear the device like a regular contact lens. The interface is engaged when the user looks towards the corner of the eye.
The prototype is currently able to display calendar and weather notifications, as well as music playback.
The company is currently focused on creating a product for those who are visually impaired.
The product is in the research and development phase of production.
