Rumhi bags Minister of the Year award in London
His Excellency Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi, Minister of Oil and Gas of the Sultanate of Oman won the Minister of the Year award at the 2019 Petroleum Economist Awards in London.
Previous winners of the award include, Khalid A. Al-Falih, ex energy minister of Saudi Arabia; Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs of Bahrain; and Brazil’s Wellington Moreira Franco.

Oman bags multiple accolades
That was not the only award Oman took home that evening. Harib Al Kitani, President and CEO of Oman LNG won the award for Energy Executive of the Year.
