Oman Air Commercial Cargo Unit has unveiled a mobile application catering to all Oman Air customers, including shipping companies and agents. The app, made in collaboration with Quantum ID Technologies, makers of the ‘SmartKargo’ platform – a solution provider for Oman Air’s cargo system, was launched in January of 2019 at the annual event of Oman Air Cargo.

Held in Muscat at the pilot station Oman (home market), the event also awarded its loyal customers and cargo clients with rewards, apart from launching the Cargo app.

Oman Air Cargo Application

The Sultanate has been encouraging digital transformation and Oman Air Cargo Unit is spearheading this agenda by the introduction of its application, which will provide 100% services to digital customers. Available on both the ‘Apple IOS App Store’ and ‘Android – play store’, the application will also help implement a ‘SmartKargo’ cloud management system. The mobile app will be released in phases across the market, within the year.
