Opera, 400 Years of Passion: Royal Opera House Muscat
The Opera Galleria has been offering its visitors an ensemble of experiences that go beyond the best in beauty, art and fashion, jewelry, homeware and social venues. Since opening its doors in 2012, the Royal Opera House Muscat’s retail haven has become a destination for the discerning visitors who seek to leave with unforgettable memories.
Today, the Opera Galleria carefully selects events, activities and initiatives that leave a lasting impression on its visitors and tenants alike. From melodic Piano tunes by the young and talented local musicians, to Lunch Music recitals from some of the world’s most renowned artists, it has become the ‘Retailtainment’ destination in Muscat.
Added to the Galleria’s offering is the recently inaugurated House of Musical Arts. An extension of the Royal Opera House Muscat, this cultural landmark welcomes patrons from the Opera Galleria through an iconic bridge connecting the two buildings.
Home to the truly immersive “Opera, 400 Years of Passion” Exhibition organized by the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London until March 14th 2019, visitors of the Galleria are promised a musical journey through history as they are transported from carnival Venice, to vibrant London, to enlightened Vienna, to sophisticated Milan and glamorous Paris, ending their virtual travels in a resplendent Muscat today.
