UAE petrol prices drop in March, diesel marginally hiked as compared to February
The energy ministry of the UAE has reduced petrol prices by eight per cent and increased diesel rates by two per cent in March.
The domestic prices for petrol have dropped for the seventh month in a row after the ministry decided in July to deregulate prices of petrol and diesel against average international levels.
The new prices will be with effect from March 1, across all refuelling stations. Petrol prices per litre will be AED1.29 for E-plus (Octane 91), AED 1.36 for Special (Octane 95) and AED1.47 for Super (Octane 98), while they are AED1.40, AED1.47 and AED1.58 respectively in February.
