AspenTech Appoints Luc Chantepy as Vice President of Middle East Sales

In addition to leading Schneider Electric’s Middle East sales organization for the oil & gas market, Chantepy also served as Country President of the company’s Kazakhstan operation, and worked in a number of roles across Project Management and Services. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences, in Lyon, France.
Chantepy assumes leadership of the Middle East sales operation from John Hague, who transitions to a new role in AspenTech’s Corporate Development team, as Senior Vice President, Strategy.
Paul Taylor, Senior Vice President, International Sales, AspenTech stated, “Building on the success we have achieved in the Middle East over the last five years under John Hague, we welcome Luc and look forward to continued growth in the region. With the ongoing development of mega-refineries and large integrated petrochemical plants, Middle East customers will continue to rely on AspenTech solutions to optimize the full potential of their assets. Luc’s extensive and varied experience will serve him well leading the great AspenTech team in this region.”
“I am very excited to join the AspenTech team and build on the strong foundation established in the Middle East and North Africa. In this region, there has never been a greater need for technology solutions to help oil and gas and petrochemical companies respond to changing market conditions. I look forward to being part of an industry leader whose reputation for innovation and world-class process industry experts is second to none,” said Luc Chantepy.
