Occidental Oman Contributes $2.5 Million Towards COVID Vaccine Procurement

MUSCAT: The Ministry of health and Occidental Oman signed an agreement wherein Occidental Oman donated $2.5 million towards procurement costs for the COVID-19 vaccine.
This is not the only CSR activity conducted by Occidental as they have contributed greatly towards social welfare with contributions like collaborating with the Ministry of Health to provide an Online E-Teaching platform for teachers., Sponsored a drive for temperature measurement devices for all schools in Al Wusta Governorate, contributed to Ibri hospital with medical equipment, among others.
Stephen Kelly, The President & General Manager of Occidental Group Oman stated, “We are proud of our commitment to the well-being of Oman’s communities throughout the pandemic, as Occidental Oman has directly addressed community needs through our CSR projects, both on a national scale, as well responding to the needs of our local concession areas.”
