Honourable Lady Visits Social Welfare Home in Rustaq
Rustaq: Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, today visited the Social Welfare Home in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq, Governorate of South Al Batinah. Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development was present during the visit.
The Honourable Lady went around the facility, which comes in the purview of the Ministry of Social Development. The home offers services and programmes catering to the old aged and other social cases whose wellbeing is difficult to maintain within their households or social milieus.
HH the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd toured the departments of the Social Welfare Home and inspected its different units. She took note of the integrated facilities and amenities offering high-quality services to the residents and providing them with appropriate rehabilitation in terms of social, psychological and healthcare, as well as entertainment services.
The Honourable Lady talked to the residents, who briefed her about the comfort and attention they enjoy at the Social Welfare Home.
At the conclusion of the visit, HH the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd expressed her deep appreciation and thanks for the efforts of the personnel in charge of the Social Welfare Home and wished them success in maintaining the performance of the facility.
