Muscat Festival 2016
The Muscat Festival 2016 featuring cultural, sport and heritage of Oman began on January 14 and will continue till February 13. The festival is taking place at the Amerat and Al Nassim public parks.

The Muscat Festival 2016 featuring cultural, sport and heritage of Oman began on January 14 and will continue till February 13. The festival is taking place at the Amerat and Al Nassim public parks.
Amerat will host the Omani Heritage Village, performance of folklore groups from India, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Turkey and the Philippines, entertainment Art Park, field shows, dinosaur’s village, science and knowledge village, and small and medium-sized enterprises exhibition.
Al Nassim will host a commercial exhibition, family village, children’s theatre, field shows, theatre, fireworks displays and the jungle village.
The festival will also host cultural workshops, poetry evenings, a session on YouTube and its impact on public opinion, the Omani Female Pioneers in Fine Arts, the impact of lowering oil prices on the economy , a literary session on writing historical novel, and a contest called Muscat Festival in the eyes of Omani photographers.
