Ministers discuss houses of worship at new towns
Manama, May 19 (BNA): Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, held a meeting with the Minister of Housing, Basim bin Yacob Al Hamer, in the presence of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jaffari Endowments Council, Yousef Saleh Al- Saleh.
The meeting, also attended by the Housing Ministry’s Undersecretary, Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Justice Ministry’s Undersecretary for Planning, Family Reconciliation and Alimony, Dana Al-Zayani, discussed the houses of worship projects at new housing projects and towns.
The housing Minister highlighted the sites allocated for the houses of worship at new housing projects and towns, in line with the standards approved by the Urban Planning and Development Authority.
Board chairmen of the Sunni and Jaffari endowments councils praised the constant interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to build houses of worship and take care of them so that they can perform their noble mission, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King and to guide him on the right path for the best interests of the nation and its people.
