Industry Leaders to Discuss ‘Business Transformation for the New Reality’ in OER’s Upcoming Webinar
Like rest of the oil based economies, Oman has also been hit very hard with a drastic drop in oil prices and continuing lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. The business owners and corporate honchos in the Sultanate across sectors are faced with the challenge of surviving the economic slump in the short term and preparing for the new normal post Covid-19 or living with the Covid-19 when the economy gets into the revival mode.
Enough has been said and discussed about the Covid-19 related business challenges. May be it is time to move from just crisis management mode to a positive mindset by focusing on how businesses could innovate and adapt fast enough when the economy gets in a revival mode. The business leaders in respective segments need to identify and strategize focusing on the catalysts for change and unique approaches that could hasten the recovery.
It should also be seen as an opportunity by them for a fundamental change that was unthinkable before for a more sustainable business. It won’t be incorrect to say that it is the time for business transformation, to become future ready, to sustain and thrive in the future that offers a new set of opportunities demanding new ways of doing business.
For the business owners, changing the market forces or legal environment are beyond their control. But engineering a high impact business transformation to develop new products, services and business models is in their control. If their business is not geared to meet the challenges of future, it is high time they identify a higher-purpose mission, build new-growth businesses outside their traditional core and find new areas of sustainable growth. They need to discuss, identify and collaborate to achieve the impactful business transformation to rebuild the business that serves the society and is based on innovation, sustainability and growth-orientation.
After the highly successful Webinar ‘Tackling Economic Disruption and Business Risk’ in April attracting over 800 live audience and viewership of over 5,000, OER brings the Webinar ‘Business Transformation for the New Reality’. It will be organized on Tuesday, 19th May from 10.30am onwards.
It will focus on how business leaders in Oman could re-engineer and transform their business to remain ahead of the curve during the recovery phase as well as ensure success in the future. The corporate leaders and market experts will express their views on the need for a business transformation and share their experiences and learnings to find relevant solutions.
The Webinar will attract top business leaders, investors, C-level executives and business & investment consultants targeting key industries including banking & finance, insurance, energy, technology, manufacturing, logistics, etc.
