Bank Muscat highlights career opportunities for CBFS students
The appeal of Bank Muscat as the ‘best place to work in Oman’ attracted a large turnout of prospective job seekers at the Career and Opportunities Fair organized by the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS) under the auspices of Hamad bin Khamis al Amri, Under-Secretary for Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Manpower.

The appeal of Bank Muscat as the ‘best place to work in Oman’ attracted a large turnout of prospective job seekers at the Career and Opportunities Fair organized by the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS) under the auspices of Hamad bin Khamis al Amri, Under-Secretary for Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Manpower.
Highlighting the career development and training opportunities available to qualified Omani nationals, the bank personnel were on hand to meet enthusiastic job seekers and interact with them on various career options. The graduating CBFS students submitted CVs expressing keen desire to work with the Sultanate’s leading financial institution.
With the Omanisation level above 94 per cent, Bank Muscat seizes every opportunity to extend support to Omani nationals seeking career development and training opportunities. Over the years, Bank Muscat has adopted innovative strategies to equip Omani employees to take up leadership positions in tandem with future challenges. The bank has developed a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy for skill and knowledge enhancement vis-à-vis the requirement of various departments.
The bank continuously invests to build human capacity and create career opportunities for highly-qualified Omani nationals. The bank has been able to derive maximum mileage out of its HR processes as most of its middle and senior management cadres are drawn from within the bank.
Bank Muscat has achieved qualitative advance in the human resources sector as it attracts the best Omani cadres for employment at all levels. The bank’s gender diversity is also notable as 48 per cent of employees are women holding various positions, including senior management positions. Bank Muscat is keen to develop its leadership pool from among the young Omanis, and thereby contribute to Oman’s future by investing in talent which is the real wealth of the nation.
