As the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) advances towards its August 2016 opening, it has added the first edition of the Oman Bride Show from 25th to 28th January 2017 to its increasingly busy calendar. Organised by one of the leading local exhibition companies; East Expo, Oman Bride is set to be the Sultanate’s biggest wedding event, showcasing an array of bridal products and services – from fashion, make-up and jewellery to flowers, transport, entertainment and venues.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Oman Bride Show as an exciting addition to the OCEC’s calendar in the 2017,” said Trevor McCartney, the OCEC’s General Manager.
Noting the OCEC’s advanced facilities and 22,000 column free square metres of flexible exhibition space, Eyad Bdeir, General Manager of East Expo remarked: “The OCEC is the perfect platform for the debut of the Oman Bride Show 2017 and the ideal platform for the many and varied aspects of Oman’s burgeoning wedding industry. This event will help us tap into the industry’s momentum, driven by the increasingly sophisticated and aspiring tastes of the Sultanate’s young demographic.
According to McCartney, the Oman Bride Show will offer the Sultanate’s SMEs an important opportunity to showcase their specialist products and services. He added that they can leverage being in the wedding industry’s spotlight and position themselves alongside prestigious international brands, while directly connecting with potential clients.
