Al Mouj Muscat hosts array of events to celebrate National Day
In celebration of Oman’s 45th National Day, Al Mouj Muscat is hosting a special fun-filled program of activities for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors.

In celebration of Oman’s 45th National Day, Al Mouj Muscat is hosting a special fun-filled program of activities for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors.
The event started from the 14th and will continue until the 19th of November, giving the community a chance to showcase its pride in the modern nation and its extraordinary leader.
Festivities began with the installation of Almouj Golf’s spectacular National Day aerial banner visible to the aircrafts landing at the new runway of Muscat International Airport. This was followed at sunset with the lighting of the patriotically themed National Day illuminations at The Walk, Almouj Marina and Almouj Golf. .
Adding to the atmosphere will be the Almouj Marina’s first National Day Boat Decorating Competition. The Marina member with the best-dressed vessel reflecting national colours will win a month’s free berthing. Throughout the week, visitors and residents are also being treated to light and music shows at Almouj Marina between 6.30pm and 8.30pm daily.
National Day itself will be marked by the distribution of flags and balloons to visitors to The Walk and Almouj Marina and, on the 19th of November from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, The Walk will stage a special National Day Concert showcasing the tremendous talents and accomplishments of young Omani musicians.
“We’re delighted to welcome Al Mouj residents and the wider community as we pay tribute to the inspirational leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and celebrate our 45th National Day,” said Nassir Bin Masoud Al Sheibani, Acting CEO of Al Mouj Muscat. “These events have also been created as a token of our appreciation to the residents and friends of Al Mouj Muscat, who are the vibrant heart of our thriving community.”
During this period of celebration, Al Mouj Muscat invites residents to express their pride in the Sultanate and decorate their homes with traditional National Day lights, Omani flags and banners, with prizes being awarded for the most creative efforts.
Al Mouj Muscat is Oman’s premium lifestyle and leisure destination, bringing a variety of events and activities to the community living in Muscat. Amongst its catalogue of successes are the recent Oriental and Western Musical Evenings, its Annual Carnival, Qaranqasho, and a variety of popular art exhibitions.
