Oman Ominvest Masters 2025: A Celebration of Excellence in Golf and Tourism

Oman International Development and Investment Company S.A.O.G (Ominvest), a leading investment company in the region announces that the second edition of the Oman Ominvest Masters Golf Tournament concluded at the prestigious LA VIE Club, Muscat Hills, Madinat Al Irfan, solidifying Oman’s position as a premier destination for sports tourism.
The tournament, which ran from January 23 to 25, featured outstanding performances from 83 elite golfers from across the GCC and beyond.
Over three days of spirited competition, the event showcased exceptional talent and provided a platform for athletes to achieve international recognition.
His Highness Sayyid Azzan bin Qais al Said, Chairman of the Oman Golf Association alongside Nasser Al Shibli, Chief Real Estate Officer at Ominvest, presented the championship trophy to Mousa Shana’a from Jordan. Mousa earned a coveted spot in the Clutch Pro Tour Events at LA VIE and Al Mouj, scheduled for March and April 2025.

The 2025 tournament attracted participants from countries including the GCC, Europe, the USA and Asia, further cementing its reputation as one of the region’s most prestigious golfing events. The participation of elite golfers underscored the Sultanate’s potential to host world-class sporting events, reinforcing its appeal to international audiences.
The Oman Ominvest Masters owes its success to the generous support of sponsors and partners. Platinum partners included Ominvest, Oris, and Oman Arab Bank, while Gold sponsors featured Takaful, Bank Alizz, National Finance, U-Capital, and Liva Insurance. The Oman Golf Association also played a pivotal role as a partner for this prestigious tournament.
The event concluded with a celebratory awards ceremony and a barbecue reception, attended by distinguished guests, sponsors, and participants. As the tournament grows year after year, it continues to play a pivotal role in positioning Oman on the global sports tourism map.
