BREAKING: Oman’s Supreme Committee Lifts All COVID-19 Precautionary Measures
The Sultanate of Oman’s Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with COVID-19 has issued a decision to lift all COVID-19-related precautionary measures that have been in effect at all places and outlets.
Details of the decision were made public on Sunday [May 22, 2022] and include the following:
1) The Supreme Committee has lifted all precautionary measures that had been in effect in all places and those for activities.
2) The Committee calls on members of the society to continue to adhere to all preventive measures to ensure healthy and safe culture.
3) It has been advised to stay at home and not interact with members of the public in case one shows fevers or any respiratory symptoms linked to COVID-19.
4) The Supreme Committee has urged everyone, especially the elderly, people with chronic diseases and those immunocompromised to adhere to wearing a protective mask in closed spaces.
5) Both citizens and residents have been advised to take booster doses to enhance their immunity against COVID-19 and its variants.
