Oman And Qatar Added To UK’s Red Travel List

Muscat: The United Kingdom has added four more countries, including the Sultanate, to the red travel list, as per a government decision issued on Monday [March 15].
The list of countries is as follows:
- Oman
- Qatar
- Ethiopia
- Somalia
The decision by the Foreign Office read: “Direct flights from Oman to England are prohibited from 4:00 am on March 19. Visitors who have been in or have transited through Oman over the last 10 days cannot enter England.
“British and Irish nationals, and third-country nationals with residence rights in the UK arriving in England from Oman will be required to quarantine in a hotel. The rules applied for arriving passengers in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland will be different,” the statement added.
