Muscat: Oman will witness the most esteemed and high-profile event of its kind targeting primarily the top echelons of the business community in the Sultanate on 24^th November, 2020.

Hosted by His Excellency Sheikh Salim bin Mustahil Al Mashani, Alam Al-Iktisaad Awards will be an exclusive platform for sharing leadership thoughts and feting the top achievers in Oman’s corporate world.

Eng. Abdul Amir Al Ajmi, the External Affairs and Value Creation Director of the Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is slated to deliver the keynote address at the event.

This year’s award ceremony will mark the 10^th edition of the event.

The exclusive event will witness the congregation of key decision-makers who are driving the country’s business and economy, and individuals who have been instrumental in the nation-building process.

These select business leaders will include CEOs and senior officials from a cross-section of industries and government bodies. All attendees will be required to adhere to strict social distancing measures.

The larger audience will attend the event on Zoom and YouTube.

Overall, 15 top-ranking MSM-listed companies will receive the coveted trophy across three categories based on their performance on select financial parameters.

Special awards will also be presented to achievements that go beyond the balance sheet. These will include the Lifetime Achievement, Excellence in Corporate Leadership, CEO of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Innovation and Technology, and the like.
